Our mission is to grow self-advocacy in Arizona by supporting self advocacy groups, motivating cross-disability involvement, engaging in public policy, and identifying opportunities for people with disabilities to tell their stories.

How can I become a peer mentor or mentee?
To become a mentor or mentee, fill out the membership form and express your interest in the program. We will guide you through the application progress.
What is the Arizona Achieve Self-Advocacy Leadership Program?
Our Self-Advocacy Leadership Program is a comprehensive course designed to encourage individuals with disabilities to become confident, informed, and effective leaders within their communities. The program covers a variety of skills to provide self-advocates with the support they need to advocate for their rights, engage in policy discussions, and create positive change.
How do I join the Self-Advocacy Leadership Program?
Our program has a unique approach. We offer two different ways to learn. One way is by attending training sessions in-person at various locations in Arizona. These in-person sessions will take place every other month. You can find out about them through our newsletter and website.
The other way to learn is through our upcoming self-advocate portal on our website. We will provide videos and a workbook that you can access from the comfort of your own home. To get access to these online materials, fill out the Arizona Achieve membership form on our website and create an account.
Are there other resources for self-advocates?
Our website provides a range of resources under the “Resources” tab, including educational materials, advocacy guides, and links to relevant organizations. These resources are updated on a regular basis and are gathered from self-advocacy groups and organizations.
